Slide Wrongfully Imprisoned. PETITION FOR RELEASE

This website has been created solely for the purpose of informing the general public of the “behind the scenes” story of the trial and sentencing of Jeffrey P. (Jep) Horn. Its intent is to reveal how an innocent man can be sent to prison for 12 years after a trial by jury where the initial poll of the jury was 11 to 1 in finding Mr. Horn NOT GUILTY.

Could it be a story of lies, payoffs, judicial corruption, prosecutorial misconduct, and trickery of the greatest degree? It is up to the reader to decide if an innocent man was sent to prison and the true criminals walk free. Was this a clear-cut case of self-defense morphed from an assault by Regenia on Jep? Was Jep being accused of being the abusive one and ultimately being charged with assault by a deadly weapon? Is it possible that a mentally ill, obsessive, and violent woman is manipulated and paid $20,000.00 by the State of Mississippi Attorney General’s Office Victim Compensation Fund to lie under oath in order to convict a man of a crime he did not commit? Could the Judge and Prosecutors have worked for hand in hand to achieve a verdict of guilty regardless of what the jury truly thought?

  1. Jeff is an amazing man . Has been a friend many years and we have bought many cars from him and has always kept his word . Jeff doesn’t deserve to be where he is ..

  2. Jep is one of the most caring, funny, and loving guys I know. All the years I’ve known him I’ve never seen him angry or hateful. I really have to question the system for putting him in prison after all he had gone through. Lots of love to him and your whole family. There has to be someone in the legal system with the common sense to see the gross injustice.

  3. He needs to be released and thw woman needs a mental evaluation she seems like a threat to herself and other’s . I bet if its looked into she most ikely has a history of this tyoe behavior or is already working on it again. I am not from chickasaw county but i have heard of their tactics and know how they misbehave.
